July 19, 2010 -- Olivia Sherman has been selected to the National Development Program ID Camp

Olivia Sherman, Goalkeeper for the U14 Girls Red Team, has been selected to attend the National Development Program ID Camp in Portland, Oregon. The camp will run from July 31 - August 7. The National Development Program ID Camp will bring in the top 100 players in the United State from the 1996 birth year. These players were selected after competing at their individual Regional ODP Camp. There are 4 regions in the United States, Region I (East), Region II (Midwest), Region III (South), and Region IV (West). As a result of all of this, Olivia will be one of only 8 goalkeepers nationwide to attend the National Development Program ID Camp.

Olivia attended the Region II ODP camp in Dekalb, IL and was initially named to the Region II ODP Pool. Region II consists of 14 states in the greater Midwest. This pool consists of 36 players from the region, 32 field players and 4 goalkeepers. Through Olivia's success at Regional ODP camp she was selected to the final Region II ODP Team. The Region II ODP Team consists of the top 24 players in the region, 22 field players and 2 goalkeepers.

The NDP ID Camp will serve as the initial step to begin the selection for the US National Pool and US National Team at U15.

We wish Olivia the best of luck and are very proud to have her represent TNT and the state of Michigan and Region II at the NDP ID Camp!

Congratulations Olivia!!
